Adrienne Moch has been a professional writer and editor since 1981. In addition to talent, one of her differentiators is her background, which includes positions as a newspaper reporter and editor, corporate communicator, newsletter writer, and PR professional. She’s been using her experience to assist corporate clients with their writing and editing needs since 2004.
A Chicago native, Adrienne earned a B.A. from Western Illinois University before embarking on her career as a journalist in Dallas. She won a Best Local Column award from the North Texas Press Association and was honored with a Katie Award from the Dallas Press Club as editor of the “Best Weekly/Semi-Weekly Newspaper.”
Taking her talents to the corporate world, Adrienne continued to garner praise for her work, receiving awards from Communications Concepts for Most Improved Newsletter and Best Employee Annual Report. After moving to California, she honed her writing and editing skills at a newsletter production company, and added public relations to her skill set as an account supervisor/writer for an integrated marketing communications agency.
As a freelance writer/editor, Adrienne has established herself as a respected professional and significant contributor to the San Diego community. The San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce honored her with its Most Innovative Product or Marketing Micro Business Award in 2006, and in 2008, she was nominated for the San Diego Business Journal’s Women Who Mean Business Award.
Adrienne served as president of the San Diego chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) from December 2008 to July 2010, breathing life into a struggling organization. In stark contrast to the national trend, the group more than doubled in size under her leadership. Today, she remains on the NAWBO San Diego board as immediate past president, and serves on the NAWBO California board as secretary/public relations director.
